Labor Day Week-end

We headed to the lake for Labor Day week-end!  We were excited to spend time with the Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Amy and Uncle Andy.  Especially Grandma, because she was just home from a long visit with the Oregon Tippetts! 

Sophie and Sutton were sporting their OSU orange for the Cowboys first football game of the season!  GOOOO POKES!   They were also enjoying patting Callie the Wiener dog....aka chasing her til they cornered her and then got to pat her.

Grandma loves having both of them on her lap!  They better stop growing so they will keep fitting on her lap!!!

I love this, Grandpa was reading to Sutton and Sophie from his vintage car magazine.  They were so interested in everything he was telling him.  They can't wait to see his new Goat/GTO .....see Grandpa, I remembered what it's called.  I just don't know if you actually spell out "goat" or not!!!! 

Oh no, Callie got away!

Daddy's big catch.  Sutton didn't really want to touch it. Believe it or not, Mommy held it, then it started wiggling and dropped it.  (It was my first fish to hold, I think!)

Taking a break and reading a book with Daddy on the floor.  She was copying how Daddy was laying down!  Cute!

Aunt Amy struck gold when she got out a sprinkler she had found on clearance at Target!  It was a hit.  Sophie was a little leery at first, but she soon decided it was a ton of fun.  She would run toward Sutton while he sprayed her.  Then she would run back to Grandma and I and tell us where the water hit her.  Pretty funny!

I thought I got a ton of cute pictures from playing in the sprinkler, so I just included almost all of them.  Since we have a pool in the backyard, we don't play in a sprinkler very often.  So it was pretty special for Sutton and Sophie.  (I know, poor kids, right??)  Oh, and by the way, it is all water in the picture, no peeing off the deck was done!

This is my FAVORITE.  Caught Sutton spraying himself straight in the face!  Hahaha!
