| On September 4th Sutton started his first day in his 3 year old class! He got to meet his teachers, Ms. Marcie and Ms. Tannis the week before, plus he knows them from the nursery at church and Bible Study. He was pretty excited. At Meet the Teacher, they gave him a letter that he was supposed to open the night before school. |

| Here we are opening it! It was a sweet note about how the first day of school can make you nervous. Inside there were sequins/glitter that were magic. He was supposed to put it under his pillow and it would make him sleep well. He thought it was really neat! |

| So he put his "sparkles" under his pillow and practiced laying on them! |
 |
| Works just fine! We ended up keeping the sparkles for several days! Although there were less and less each day!! |

| After a great nights sleep, Sutton was ready to go to school! Daddy took the day off, and went with us to school! |
 |
| The closer we got to his class the more shy he became! There are lots of new boys and girls in his class this year! So he was a little hesitant to go in |
 |
| But he had a GREAT day! My favorite party, they way he yells "Mommy" and runs out of the room to give me a big hug at the end of the school day! Love ya, Little Man! |

| Meanwhile, Sophie had a blast having the house all to herself!! She literally ran into the house squealing, ran straight to Sutton's favorite toys and played with them for 45 minutes! |

| She also took a 5 second nap with Daddy on the couch! | All in all, and great day! |
Oh, I love the note idea! What a fun day! And the 5 second nap with Daddy! So cute!
ReplyDeleteBrings tears to this Grandma's eyes. Guess he is always going to hold a special place in my heart!! He's going to have a great time this year. Now maybe that he doesn't have to think about packing his backpack, he can think about staying with us again.
