Sutton in four months old today! We just can't believe it. Here are some updates with Sutton. He has his 4 mo. check up next Monday, so we'll have some official weight and
length updates then!! You still can't call him a
roly poly baby, but his little face has really started to get chubby just in the past few days. There is
definitely more of a double chin!!!! He LOVES to stand (with our support, of course) as you can see in the picture below!! He is smiling and laughing all the time now. Sutton is
definitely a happy baby. He is really only fussy when he is hungry or tired.
Unfortunately his sleep patterns have gotten worse. (But they are still a long way from terrible) Chris and I say we got used to more sleep VERY quickly. Sometimes he will sleep all the way to 6
ish am, but many times wakes up anywhere from 2-5am and he usually does not want to go back to sleep! I know I'm praying for patience and calm every night. It is safe to say, I'm not usually at my best that time of night!!! But we know it won't last forever, so I try to really appreciate all the sweet times I get to have with Sutton. On another note, Sutton is getting really good at reaching out and grabbing at, pushing and eating his toys. It's fun to see him start learning how to control those arms and hands.
We had his pictures taken professionally, about a week and a half ago. My wonderful friend
Odee did the pictures again. We were both so excited with how they turned out. Check out
Odee's website link in "some of my favorite websites" over on the side of the blog! Thanks for doing such a GREAT job, Odee!
Doesn't he look like a big boy, standing up with Mommy!

The only smile we got out of him that day. He's ready to play sports!

I bet those feet are going to be MUCH bigger than mine....someday!

I just love this little man!

What a cutie!

If the next four months go as fast as the previous four months, well I'll just be a little sad. It really is amazing how fast the time goes! We are so thankful for this little guy!
His little rosy cheeks are waaay cute. I want to eat him up! Hope you get some more Zzzzz soon - you can only go on a few hours sleep/night for so long, then you start losing (more) brain cells (the ones that did not die during pregnancy!). Seriously. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how grown up he looks in his pictures. It is hard to believe he is that old. I hope I had no idea you were going to be at the lake last weekend or I would have tagged along. I just spent most of the day at home on the couch. Kiss my cutie newphew for me. Love you all.
