Sophie's 3rd Birthday was a very busy day! We all didn't get home to really celebrate until almost bedtime. When we did get home, we needed to call Aunt Amy because she had sent a very mysterious gift earlier in the week that wasn't to be opened until December 12. It was something for the whole family!
Surprise! It was our very own Polar Express Train to put around our Christmas tree. (Grandpa and Grandma have one that Grandpa had as a little boy, and they LOVE it!) They were so excited. Sutton said several times..."This is the best gift ever!!" Daddy got it all put together and around the Christmas tree. It has a remote control and several sounds and phrases that it says. I think it's like having Tom Hanks in our house for Christmas!
We didn't actually have Sophie's birthday cake on her birthday, we decided to wait and share it with family while we were in Piedmont the next day! Sophie did get to open some of her presents! She got some very stylish black boots with glitter bows! She loves wearing them!
Sutton gave her a copy of his "oldie but goodie" books, Blue Hat, Green Hat!
Hmmm, I can't remember what was in this bag!

They've been playing with it ever since!
Daddy showed them a few tricks! Now we have princesses dancing and singing all the time!
