Strong Faith for Faith

My sweet sweet little niece is getting ready to go into surgery in about 30 minutes, (10 am Colorado time). Please pray and send positive thoughts for this strong little child of God in your prayers. Her Momma, my sister, sent us this picture of her this morning, preparing for surgery. Isn't her name just perfect? FAITH STRONG! A wonderful reminder to us all to have faith and be strong!!!!

In a few hours, our Faith will have surgery to correct a malformation involving her top two vertebrae. Because she broke the bone that protects her spinal cord and holds those vertebrae in place, the surgery will correct this by fusing the top 2 vertebrae together. While a gymnastics accident recently revealed this to us, she's had this 'broken neck' of sorts for the last 6 years or so. My mama ne...rves flutter, but I rest knowing God has kept her safe through 3 years of gymnastics, boogie boarding countless waves, and many other falls and tumbles. Two surgery options exist, and from the films she is a candidate for the surgery that makes her neck more stable. Please pray this is still the case when the doctors see inside? And pray for peace for all of us?
