Eight Months!

What are these things Mommy put me in?????

Sutton is 8 months old today. I just can't believe it. I know every parent says it, but how time is flying. The last eight months have been the most difficult and best times of our lives. I always thought it was so fun watching my nieces and nephews grow up and discover things and just be SO darn cute. But since they all live quite a ways away, I never knew what it was like to watch a baby learn every single day! It is just so entertaining and so fascinating! Sutton just amazes us, and it makes me look at every other baby, child and human being with different eyes. It is amazing what we do and how we grow! It really makes you appreciate the miracle of life!

Some Sutton updates! He's rolling over quite a bit now, but seems content to stay in one general area for now. If he is on the hardwood floor, he scoots around on his bottom, backwards, quite a bit!!! Plus, if he's on his stomach, it's much easier to spin around!!! He loves to stand and can do it very well, but isn't interested in walking. It seems walking and crawling are not in the immediate future....and we're not rushing it!!! Sutton also likes to feed himself bread and cereal puffs. Yum Yum! He interacts with his toys a lot more and knows just how to work some of them. Thankfully, he is quite good at naps now....(Praise the LORD!) and takes two pretty long ones a day! I think one of his favorite times of the day is when Daddy gets home from work. He just lights up! Oh, did I mention before he has his two bottom teeth! Teething for those two, went quite well. Hopefully the others will not be too bad!!! (We can pray, right!)
