5 Months Old!

5 Months ago today!

So much growing in just 5 months!

We just can't believe it, Sutton is 5 months old today. Five months ago things were much quieter, much calmer, much less sleep deprived.....BUT MUCH MORE BORING!!!! We'll take all those things because the smiles, laughs, talking and loving MORE than make up for it! It amazes us every day, how much we love this little guy! We, as humans, really are capable of amazing things!

I wanted to share a few things that WE KNOW about Sutton at 5 months of age. Who knows how quickly some might change.

Sutton.....

1. really likes bath time. He kicks and kicks his feet, and he doesn't mind water going all over his face. But he's ok to end bath time to. He doesn't get upset or anything.

2. loves to go outside and enjoy nature. It can really calm him down, or entertain him for quite a long while!

3. LOVES faces, and really likes to reach up and touch, feel and squeeze your face with a BIG smile on his!

4. loves going on the changing table and changing his diaper or changing his clothes. It puts him in a REALLY good mood....get ready for big smiles and laughs!

5. is a really good car rider...lots of times he falls asleep before we are out of the driveway!

6. does not like the wind to blow in his face.

7. is always happy to see Daddy come home. When he hears Daddy's voice, he always turns and smiles!!! (it's so sweet)

8. is beginning to really notice Belle. If he sees her walking across the room, his eyes follow her like a hawk. He also thinks she really funny when she barks!

9. doesn't like to sleep much during the day. We're thrilled if he sleeps an hour at a time. Once he wakes up....he's up. Believe me...we've let him cry!!!

10. is quite good at putting himself to sleep at naptime and bedtime! Now if he'll just stay alseep!!!

And one thing I know about me....I LOVE SPENDING TIME with the little guy, but I sure am glad he can entertain himself a little bit now!!!!

Enjoying some warm weather outside, last week!

Another day outside. It was so warm, we went all the way down to just our shirt!
