4 Month Doctor's Visit

He still likes to be swaddled at night, but can work those little hands to his face if he really wants!

Sutton had his 4 month check up today. He will actually be 5 months next week. We had to reschedule our appointment because the doctor had the flu!!! The Doctor had a good report to give us for Sutton! He is now 25 3/4 inches long and 13 lbs. 10 oz. When the nurse measured his length, she said...wow, he is long!!!. He was 24 inches long and 10 lbs 8 oz. at his last visit. Sutton is now over the 100th percentile for height (he was at the 90th at the last visit) and the 20th percentile for weight (he was 40th last visit) The doctor said that he is just tall, like his Daddy!!! So I guess we officially have a "string bean"!!! We were laughing because we have all been commenting on how he's bulking up. He has a little double chin and getting pudgy thighs and arms!!! I guess 80% of babies have more chins and fat baby rolls!!! We'll take him however he is. He's also right on schedule with a lot of other milestones....tracking things with his eyes...(his favorite thing to track at home is Belle as she goes around the room. Watch out Belle...it's only a matter of time....), grasping and playing with toys, rolling, and pushing up on his tummy and moving/turning some towards toys when he's on his tummy. He's just so talented!!!


Here is a video of Sutton playing with a new toy that my Uncle Tim got him. Uncle Tim got Sutton a gift certificate to Discovery Channel Store. Sutton....or Mommy had a FUN time picking something out! This toy is so cool and he is mesmerized by it. Thanks Uncle Tim!
