Sutton "celebrated" his first week of life on Thursday. We can't believe that a week has already gone by. Grandma Jerry keeps telling us what a good baby he is, and I think she is right! Sutton's first week has gone really well. A lot of eating, sleeping, and changing diapers!!! His first night home, was a really long one, he woke up to eat 7 times!!! But now he seems to be settling, for now, into a pattern of eating about 2-4 times a night!! Daddy and Grandma Jerry are really good at keeping him entertained or sleeping between feedings so Mommy can squeeze in a little nap! Sutton has also tried out the bouncy seat and the swing. He thinks they are so-so. The bouncy seat just doesn't bounce him enough. He really likes to move...gentle movements don't pacify him!!! Mommy and Daddy have both be christened by getting peed on!!! I think we are like most parents, amazed that we can just sit around for long periods of time and just stare at Sutton, and laugh at all the faces and noises he makes, especially when he is asleep. We really think he is amazing.
