Are we lucky or what, to have so many friends. We got to have another baby shower with all the wonderful friends I've made here in Sherman....I think almost all of them through my women's networking group, The Heart Link Network. What a blessing it has been, helping me meet all these wonderful women, and more importantly, making them my friends.
Amanda and Julie hosted the shower for me at Kelley Square, here in Sherman. It was SO nice and the food was FABULOUS. All of my favorites. We played a REALLY fun game, which I lost!, and had wonderful conversation. Thank you to all the ladies that attened, and those that couldn't make it, for all the love and support you have shown me since coming to Sherman. You have really made the transition so much easier. You mean a lot to both Chris and I!!! I can't wait for you all to meet Sutton. Also, of course, thank you all for the generous and thoughtful gifts that you gave us. We appreicate every single one of them!
I don't think we ever took any pictures at the shower, we were just having too much fun playing games and talking!! The hostesses came up with some wonderful things that made this shower unique. Amanda and Julie stayed with the "vintage sports" theme I have for Suttons room. The "guest sign in" was a "vintage" looking bat, that everyone signed. I love it. Also, the ladies all wrote a message to me and put it in a piggy bank for Sutton, which looks like a baseball. There were also a vintage looking basketball and baseball glove picture frames ready to hold Sutton's pictures.
