I just got home from our latest doctors visit. I have to brag on Chris a little bit. He has been so supportive through the last 9 months. He has gone to every single doctor's visit except for one. I have REALLY appreicated having him there!!
Yeah, another smooth doctor's visit. I can't believe how smoothly all the visits and this entire pregnancy have gone. It has to be a result of all of our prayers and all of the prayers you have said for us. God REALLY is good!
Anyway, the heartbeat was really good. It was speeding up a little bit and slowing down, which made Dr. Chambers laugh a little bit, since we could hear it on the heart monitor! She also told us that I am now dilated to a 2 (cm) and about 80% efaced. Which of course doesn't mean that I'm going to go into labor anytime to soon, but just that I'm preparing for labor. But it's still good to hear that progress is being made!!! Dr. Chambers also said that because of the progression, we could schedule an induction if we wanted to. Chris and I had talked about it before today, and we decided would rather go with God's schedule, and let nature take it's course. Unless of course it becomes medically necessary. If we were to schedule an induction, we could schedule it the week of Sept. 23rd. As of now, we aren't going to do that.
