We Woke up to SNOW!

One morning in January, we got a BIG surprise.  We woke up to SNOW!!!  Sutton knew about it before Chris and I did.  He had been looking out his window at it since he woke up!  (which is almost always before us!)
It was really excited because there was barely any chance for snow!  It was still snowing, so we decided to stay home from school and play.  Sutton was thrilled to play out in the snow.  He loves school, but missing it and playing in the snow is very much acceptable!

Sutton is trying to play fetch with Chloe using snowballs!

Sophie got to get all gussied up in her fancy snow suit, from our friends who lived in Boston.  Is this the cutest little purple coat and snow pants?  Sophie looked like the Pillsbury Dough boy.....but purple!

Daddy was a sitting target for Sutton's snowballs/1

This little boy is on a roll with those snow balls!

The purple snow princess is loving the snow too!

Mommy's car was a good place to get some snow, with Daddy's help!

We walked out to the pond.  We hadn't been back there for quite a while.  You can see how low the pond is .  The tube sticking up is actually the drain.  It is usually under the water completely where we can't see it.  The water is low, but not as low as it was.  We have had a little bit of rain and snow lately!

Anybody else been swinging in the snow out by the pond lately?  Sutton has!

Daddy thought it would be a good day to build a fire.  Believe it or not, it was the first time we have had a fire since being in this house!!!  We discovered what a TINY fireplace we have!

Playing in the snow as hard as these two kiddos did, make you TIRED!

Time to rest and watch a cartoon.....for about 10 seconds!!!
