Sutton loves ALL things construction (especially equipment)! They are doing major road construction on the interstate we take to his school. So I always get a running commentary of all the construction equipment that is present and "in action". The other day, on the way home, this is what I heard....."bulldozer, roller, crane, concrete pouring truck, crane, digger, truck, car, truck"!!! It made me laugh out loud!
Well, guess what we woke up to on Friday morning.....a bulldozer parked practically in our front yard! Was our little man excited or what! He stood outside and looked at it for quite a while. They are building a house next door to us, so Sutton has really enjoyed watching the "castle house" as he calls it, being built! (It does resemble a castle!)
Unfortunately when we got home from Bible Study, a nice gentleman with the electric companty came over (when I was getting the kiddos out of the car) and informed me that that the same bulldozer had cut our electric line. So we were out of electricity! They fixed it after 2-3 hours with a temporary fix. They are going to come back soon to fix it (for real, I guess) another time. Then the power will be off for 2-3 more hours. Hopefully it will be a rather warm day so we don't freeze!
