Sutton's First Day of School

Sutton had his first day of preschool today! How fast he is growing up!!!! He is going to a 2 day 2 yr old program at our church! His class has 3 girls and 6 BOYS!!! (I would have cried at that boy to girl ratio when I was teaching!!!) His teachers are very sweet and he is in the same classroom that he goes to during church. So he was very famaliar with the room!

Sutton was ready to RUN out the door this morning!

He could hardly stand still for pictures!

When I got the school info that said he needed a backpack, nap mat and lunch box....my mind started going 100mph. Hmmm....what could I make!!!
Sutton got a clear backpack with his name on it and construction equipment.
I made it using outdoor vinyl cut out on my silhouette machine.

I also found some cute construction fabric and made Sutton's nap mat!
He's been wanting to use it for a long time!!! Then I found a dump truck lunch box at Target!

Sutton asked for Sophie to be in a picture too!

We met up with his friends, Hailey and Kaylin. They are all in the same class!

These pictures make me laugh. Kaylin was the only one that seemed excited once we got inside. Sutton and Hailey seemed a little reserved and Kaylin was running around because she couldn't decide where to stand for the picture!!! All three of them have spent a lot of time together here!

One more picture...this time with Daddy. Daddy took the morning off to come see Sutton off to school! Sutton loved it.

I'm happy to report that Sutton had a FABULOUS first day. When I got there to pick him up he was so excited to see me! He was also a little out of it. I think they had to wake him up from a nap, so he was still really tired!
