It looks like Daddy has a real fishing buddy! We went to Grandma and Papa's lake house for the holiday weekend. We weren't able to go until Saturday....and the FIRST thing Sutton said to Daddy, when he got up, was "go fishing at lake house"!!! He was excited! Although we almost didn't get to go, because they called us very early to let us know there was NO AIR CONDITIONING....and that was before the cool front came through!!! Luckily it was fixed, and we headed out after Sophie's morning nap!
Sutton went fishing EVERY day we were there. He would be down on the dock with Daddy at least an hour at a time, and Chris reported that he actually fished almost the whole time. (Now, actually fishing for Sutton is using his fishing pole with a bobber on it...but NO hook!!!!) He knows just how to push the button and cast, and then reel it in. It's really sweet. Although sometimes you have to remind him to reel, as he tries to reach for the line with his fingers and pull the bobber up!

Here, Sutton was telling me about the "BIG FISH" that they caught, that got off right as they pulled it to the dock, "Fish went under dock, and BIG SPLASH"Those are his words!

I think Daddy and Sutton caught 4 fish over the week-end. Sutton loved each and every one of them! He was very excited to tell us all about them!
