While the kiddos and I were home visiting PC, I was uploading some pictures of our stay to facebook. My dear sweet old friend...since kindergarten, saw them. Julianne called me and said that she was coming to Ponca on Tuesday. BUMMER, I was leaving on Monday. She talked to her in laws, who were driving her down, and they agreed to bring her on Monday morning. So she just drove into town, and we were driving out of town....and we met at her parents house! It was the first time we had actually seen each other in about 11 years (that is WAY too long). It was also the first time we had met each others babies!!! That's what I love about facebook though, it didn't seem like 11 years since we have kept up via facebook so much!
So it was a quick visit....but SO fun!

BUT, on a sad note, the reason Julieanne is in Ponca City right now is because they live in Minot, North Dakota...where some of the horrible flooding has been. Her husband, Mark, was able to get everything out of the house, but the house is totally flooded. Here is a picture of their house a couple days after the flooding started. Please keep them in your prayers...as they have a lot of work ahead of them. Love you, Julie! (I love the sense of humor she has kept....she said in one facebook post....I guess we don't have to worry about finishing painting the trim!!!!)
