Snow, Snow, Snow and ICE!

What crazy weather in North Texas. Early Tuesday morning we had sleet with a little freezing rain with a little snow! It sounded like it sleeted for hours, it seemed so loud hitting our bedroom windows and then listening to it as Sophie wanted her nightly "snack"! So we have been stuck at home since Monday afternoon. (Chris has gone to work two days, but I don't want to get out...the roads out to 75 are still pretty bad!)

Well last night, Thursday night, we were supposed to get a light dusting of snow, and we woke up with 4-6 inches. McKinney got the worst of it, with about 6 inches! CRAZY! We've never had this many snow days in Texas since we've been here (12 years now). The schools have been out for FOUR days!!! It's crazy. This is the year we should have gotten snow clothes for Sutton!

****Breaking news....they've just announced on the news, that it looks like we might get MORE freezing rain and snow on Saturday night***** What in the world is going on here in the SOUTHERN US????

Was Sutton ever excited to go "play snow" as he puts it! Poor little Sophie had to stay inside, bundled up in her sleep sack, taking a nap!!!!

Daddy accidentally threw a snowball and hit Sutton in the eye...but he was brave, no tears!

Poor little boy doesn't have snow clothes or snow toys...
instead of a sled, why not try a snow bike!!!!

Someone sure does like the taste of snow!!
