I worked on a little project for the kitchen. For those of you who knew her, my Grandma Rea could COOK! She was famous for her SUGAR COOKIES. What I remember is her Christmas baking. She would make Sugar Cookies, Butter Candy, Divinity, and Million Dollar Fudge.
OHHH yummy! I think all of her granddaughters remember making these with her. Such sweet memories. I wanted a little of Grandma that I could SEE in the kitchen. So I took copies of these
recipes that were written in her handwriting and did a little
Photoshop magic, used my amazing new Silhouette SD machine, and transferred her handwriting onto these plates. No I have a little of Grandma Rea with me as I cook. (Wish I was half the cook she was!)

Grandma Rea would have been 99 on March 8
th!

She had the strongest arm ever. She could beat the divinity by hand for much longer than I could!!!

...and the last one I plan on doing is her Sugar Cookies!
I saw someone make something like this for Christmas on a blog and loved it! These look terrific! Nice job Sara!
