Grandma's Baking...

I worked on a little project for the kitchen. For those of you who knew her, my Grandma Rea could COOK! She was famous for her SUGAR COOKIES. What I remember is her Christmas baking. She would make Sugar Cookies, Butter Candy, Divinity, and Million Dollar Fudge. OHHH yummy! I think all of her granddaughters remember making these with her. Such sweet memories. I wanted a little of Grandma that I could SEE in the kitchen. So I took copies of these recipes that were written in her handwriting and did a little Photoshop magic, used my amazing new Silhouette SD machine, and transferred her handwriting onto these plates. No I have a little of Grandma Rea with me as I cook. (Wish I was half the cook she was!)

Grandma Rea would have been 99 on March 8th!

She had the strongest arm ever. She could beat the divinity by hand for much longer than I could!!!

...and the last one I plan on doing is her Sugar Cookies!
