Sophie Elise-40 weeks
We had our 40 week appointment for little Sophie Elise. Her heart rate was good, but Dr. Halderman was thinking that she was going to be quite small due to the measurements of me! So she decided to do one more ultrasound, just for peace of mind. Sutton was with us, so he got to see some pictures of his sister for the first time. He was a little interested, but we had been there for quite a while and he got bored quickly!!! Anyway, according to her thigh bone measurement, it looks like Sophie is going to be quite long....like Sutton was. Overall, the measurements showed her to be around 6 lbs 13 oz, but the tech thinks she is going to be long and not too plump....so she will probably be a little smaller than 6 lbs 13 oz. During an ultrasound, when she is the big, it is hard to make much out...but we did get a pretty good one of her face (above). You can make out her two eyes, little nose and mouth! I can't believe well see the real thing in just a few days!
We also decided that we will stay with the plan to induce, Monday, Dec. 13th if Sophie doesn't arrive sooner!
Today was Sophie's official due date, but no Sophie!
Here is a picture of me @ 40 weeks!

You look terrific, Sara! What a beautiful tree, too! We are sending prayers your way.....
