Girl's Trip 2010

Wow, after YEARS of planning, our Girls Trip is just a ton of great memories. My wonderful friend of over 16 years, Sherry Roden, turned 40. So she and a couple of other sweet ladies that turned 40 this year, got about 20ish women together for a week long trip to Destin, Florida. We rented a house right across the street from the beach and enjoyed a week of doing NOTHING, and doing as little planning of activities, as possible.

So, yes, I spent the ENTIRE week (Saturday to Saturday) away from my two favorite guys! Chris was awesome, going into work late and coming home early to take care of Sutton. One of my favorite babysitters, Tiffany, watched Sutton while he was at work. (My other favorite babysitter is Rachel!) According to Chris and Tiffany there were no big problems, and Sutton did fine without his Mommy. I was a little worried about how we would both do! I was impressed with myself,too. I missed the Little Man, but did just fine!!

The beach was awesome...we saw NO signs of any oil....
BUT.............
there was a TON of icky green algae in the water everyday! We had to wade/swim through it to get to the pretty water that Destin is known for! That emerald water was worth it!

Ahhh, freedom from responsibility and able to relax!!
