Picking Blueberries

On Saturday, we had a family outing to Bailey's Berry Patch, to pick our own blueberries. Sutton made Mommy and Daddy do all the work! I don't think he picked one berry!!! That better change in the coming years!!! We got there nice and early while it was still cool, but it's Texas in June, the sun came out and it was hot!!! Mommy was a wimp and called it quits when we filled one gallon bucket!!! I couldn't believe how many berries were on the blueberry bushes/trees. They also have blackberries, but we didn't get any of those! They also had a petting zoo, karaoke, and some YUMMY blueberry lemonade! The only bad thing, Mommy left the camera in the car. So no pictures of the actual picking!

Here's Sutton holding the loot at the end of the day. We enjoyed them in some homemade blueberry pancakes for Sunday breakfast. Hmmmm.....what else will we do with them??
