But, Baby Tippett was hiding and Dr. Halderman couldn't find the heartbeat with the fetal doppler heartbeat monitor. For anyone it is a SCARY experience....and for me, experiencing miscarriage before, hearing the silence from the monitor is HORRIBLE!!!! Dr. Halderman was wonderful...she didn't waste any time and went to immediately go see if a sonogram was available. Waiting in the room by myself, all I did was pray over and over...trust in the Lord with ALL your heart, trust in the Lord, trust in the Lord. The ultrasound tech didn't waste any time and got right down to business. Quickly, she and the dr. said..."there's the heartbeat....." or something like that. Talk about music to my ears, but I was still almost afraid to look. She also said that Baby Tippett was a real wiggler, moving around a lot!!!! Praise the LORD!!! Dr. Halderman said the baby was very low and that's why we didn't pick up the heartbeat, she wasn't going low enough, I guess!!! She said everything looked great. I managed to hold it together pretty well until I got out in the car and called Chris. I tried to stay calm and start out by saying everything was ok, but poor Chris couldn't understand me b/c I was crying. So I'm sure I scared him silly!!!
So all is well, and I am THANKING God!!! A real lesson to me, I need to lean on the Lord even more. The BIG ultrasound is scheduled for 3 weeks...hopefully we will see if Baby is a boy or girl!
NO MORE excitement please!!!!

i am so sorry you had to experience that but am so glad everything is okay! praising HIM!
