We had a fun Halloween week-end this year. We decided to do nothing Halloween related, and went to Beaver Bend State Park where we stayed in a cabin. It was BEAUTIFUL weather and BEAUTIFUL scenery! Although I did feel a little sorry for the people in the other half of our duplex cabin. Sutton was up pretty early, and he was pretty whiny and loud!!! Well, we tried keeping him quiet, but when you have 4 molars coming in, you might be whiny too!
Also, on Friday, Sutton had his 1 year well visit. He got a clean bill of health, and the doctor was really impressed with how happy and content he seemed just playing.......while waiting for his shops!! He now weighs 20 pounds....he's come up for the 3 percentile to the 10th percentile in weight. He is also 30 1/2 inches long! He is still in the 50th percentile for weight. Sutton is getting to be more and more fun....it always surprised me how wonderful he is whatever age he is! He is now sometimes signing for "eat" and "more". He loves clapping, waving bye bye and shaking his head "no". He still isn't saying any words we can understand...but he talks to us ALL the time and is always doing back and forth conversations with us. I don't know what he's saying, but he likes saying it! He is also a FAST crawler and cruising around anything he can hold on to. He has stood for a few seconds but doesn't show too much interest in walking. Oh, one other really cute thing he does when I'm laying on the floor while he's playing. He will crawl over to me, roll over and lay down with me with his head on the pillow. It' s really sweet, but he doesn't lay there for long!!!
Enjoy our fall pictures!

We rode the train around the park. While waiting for it to start, horse came over and said hello. Sutton didn't take his eyes off of him!!!
UMMMMM, maybe I need to rethink this, it's kind of scary.Well, he did end up liking it by the time it was over!!

Hmmm, was this Daddy's idea of babysitting while Mommy was sleeping in??
Ha ha, just kidding. we took him out before it fell over!!!

Loved the pictures. Looks like you saw some beautiful folage. It appears that your all had a good time. Jerry
