Kula Lodge

Sunset, once again, in Maui.

I couldn't get enough of them!

After the Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm, we drove just a little way, to the Kula Lodge. There we had an AMAZING dinner of fancy food, including ma hi ma hi and other sea food. Our main reason for going there, besides the food, was the view of the sunset. They also have a beautiful botanical gardens. Faith took us on a very wonderful and informative tour, after the main sunset was over. It was such a nice dinner and all the kiddos were on their best behavior (big surprise!!!, they always are!) In these pictures we are about 1/3 of the way up Haleakala Mountain and an elevation of around 3000 feet! It is so different from the beach part of Hawaii you always see!
