Happy 6 months, Sutton

Yes, Mommy got Daddy's hair gel out and had a little experiment!

Have 6 months already gone by since the day Sutton was born? I really can't believe it!. As I'm writing this, I remember exactly 6 months ago, right now, waiting for Dr. Chambers to arrive. I remember that I couldn't believe we were going to meet Sutton in less than an hour! We didn't know anything about him then, really, and now it seems that we know so much. At the same time...we know that there is SO much that we still don't know.

We know that he is VERY impatient when he wants his food. We know that when he wakes up, he wants to be UP!!! We know that that he loves the outdoors, it calms him almost instantly. We know that he loves to laugh. We know he loves Belle, and loves to pat her! We know he has blue eyes and beautiful eyelashes! We know that he has a little freckle on his left knee! We know he likes to roll over on his stomach, but has forgotten how to get back over on his back! We know that he loves us, by the way he lights up when either of us walk in the room. We know that his Mommy and Daddy love him more than they ever thought possible.......

We don't know how tall he'll be...but it looks like...pretty tall! We don't know if he'll keep his blue eyes! We don't know if he'll be as stubborn as his Mommy and Daddy!! We don't know if he'll always be impatient for his food, or will he be impatient A LOT??? We don't know when he'll get his first tooth. We don't know who his best friend will be. We don't know if he'll like fishing, but we think he will! We don't know when he'll get in his first fight. We don't know what his personality will really be like. We don't know what he'll want to be when he grows up. We don't know if we can really ever let him know how much we love him...............

So many things we know and don't know, but that is life! One thing I do know, is that we pray every day that God will give us the wisdom to teach him and show him everything he needs to be successful in life, and to have a HAPPY life.

Lounging around playing. Well he was sitting, then kind of leaned over!

Sound asleep. We spent some time outside yesterday. He usually screams like crazy when he gets tired of being on his stomach, but it was so peaceful outside, he just fell asleep!
