Here are some updates about all of us! Sutton is doing great. He has been sleeping REALLY well. All through the time in Oklahoma for Christmas, he was sleeping 9-10 hours a night. Words can't describe how much we loved that! But he hasn't been doing quite a well since we've been home, not that we are complaining. But I have to admit, I got used to those nice long uninterrupted nights VERY quickly! Now he has started moving around in his crib a lot, turning himself 180 degrees quite often. He's even turned on his crib aquarium on AND off with his feet (by accident I'm sure!), and this morning, he had his legs stuck through the sides of the crib. So that's been waking him up earlier than "normal". Sutton is smiling like crazy, he's discovered his tongue, and I think I've even heard a couple of giggles. He has rolled from his tummy to almost his back, and he likes to "stand up" on our laps a lot. He is starting to reach out for toys a little bit, and is drooling a lot.
Chris is still working for Texas Instruments and enjoying his job a lot. Once again, I am really impressed with all the stuff that he gets done. He has done a lot of projects around the house, although not nearly all he wants to get done. Chris likes to come home and take Sutton for a while to give me a break.....but more important he likes spending the time with Sutton. He hasn't had nearly the time for fishing he would like.
I've been enjoying being a stay at home mommy. Boy is it hard work, and it hasn't all been a bed of roses!! Sutton and I have started to develop a routine, but it's definitely not perfect. I've been on maternity leave from my women's networking group here in Sherman, and my duties with The Heart Link Network. But I've been trying to stay in the loop. I have a whole new respect for stay at home moms and moms that work outside the home. And Chris and I often say...how in the world did my sister do it with twins. My hat is off to them!
Chris and I agree that we have been blessed in 2008, and we give all the credit to the Lord.
Huh???

I agree...2008 was wonderful and I am looking forward to all that 2009 has to offer!
