Turkey Time!

We had a little family reunion, of sorts, for Thanksgiving. We were in Piedmont with Chris' family, and ALL the kids where there. We got to see Chris' sister, Amy and her boyfriend, Michael. Greg and Shilo flew in from Seattle. Grandpa Keith and Grandma Jerry were there. Also we got to see Chris' Grandma Tippett, Uncle Andy, Aunt Sandy and Dylan. It was a great day.

Grandma Tippett got to meet her great-grandson.

Three generations..Grandma Tippett, Chris and Sutton.

Erin, I made sure Chris got a picture of Sutton in the little denim jacket you got him. You should have heard everyone ooh and ahhh when I brought him downstairs in that little outfit. He was adorable.

Aunt Sandy is SUCH a natural with babies. Sutton was SO content to just relax with her!

Uncle Andy and Dylan were really enjoying him too. Sutton had a little outfit for Thanksgiving. I thought it was so cute. The top has a turkey on it and says "I'm Stuffed". He also wore his first (of many, I'm sure) pair of blue jeans. He was the hit of the day! Along with all the YUMMY food.

On Friday night we went to dinner at my FAVORITE pizza place, Hideway. Sutton was sleeping peacefully, but I got him out anyway. I wanted to pose with him in my favorite restaurant. He likes their pizza too, he just hasn't had it first hand yet. It was an eventful eating experience. First they made one of our pizzas wrong, so we got a extra one that they corrected. Then the waitress accidentally dumped red sauce on Shilo. Shilo was such a good sport about it, though. But the most important thing was...the pizza was AWESOME!
Thanks for dinner, Grandpa Keith!

Sutton is getting to know his Aunt Shilo. She is due with his cousin on Jan. 7th. Sutton's hoping for a boy, but we will have to wait and see. Sutton was kicking Aunt Shilo's stomach, we said that he wasn't playing very nice. But I think Baby Tippett kicked back too!!!

Sutton says, "Just wait, you're going to have one just like me!"

We love you Aunt Shilo and Uncle Greg!

Ok, now I'm sure you want to know the story behind this. I hope Amy and Shilo don't hate this picture too much. But I figured I look just as silly or sillier than they do. About 5 or 6 years ago, Amy, Shilo and Greg came to Austin to spend Thanksgiving with us. We all went to Dave and Busters for dinner and we three girls got a giant bubble gum ball (bigger than these). You should have seen us trying to get those things in our mouths...but we had so much fun. So we are always looking for giant bubble gum, but they are hard to find. (giant jaw breakers are not). So Shilo and I found these and got one for each of us. So here we are trying to chew them. It was
A LOT of gum!!!

  1. So the gumball picture is a little scary....but it was sooo much fun for some strange reason! It was great seeing you during Thanksgiving. Sutton is a sweetie pie. We cannot wait to see you all again!
