The Tippett Family: Spooky Times in Austin!

Over Halloween week-end we took a "long" adventure back to Austin, Texas. We wanted to introduce Sutton to all our friends from there...they had been waiting a long time to meet him. Sutton was really good during the 4 hour car ride. On both the way there and the way home, he slept, almost, the entire way!!!

We had such a great time and saw so many of our friends, but there were still a lot we didn't get to see. Time just ran short. Hopefully we will catch you next time...or come visit us!!!!

We got there on Friday. Chris went to lunch with some of the guys he worked with at Freescale, while I had lunch with Adriana. Adriana and I had a great time catching up, and she loved seeing Sutton. Sutton tried to scare her by ALMOST having a blow out in his diaper.

After lunch, Chris dropped me off at the elementary school, Northwest, that I taught at in Pflugerville. I took the camera with me, but I forgot to take any pictures. I guess I was having too much fun seeing all my friends and showing off Sutton to them.

To top off our VERY eventful day, we went over to Rob, Leslie, Emma and Luke's for dinner and our yearly Halloween get together with our old neighbors in the cul de sac. We would always set up tables and chairs, hand out candy, and have a good time. This year even more neighbors came, Chris and I came back...and it was a real party. We were having so much fun, we didn't want to leave...and we couldn't because Bob and Karin were parked behind us and wouldn't move!!!

After the party, we went over to my friend, Dea's house and stayed the night. We had a great time staying with Dea, Jason and Sandy. There were plenty of hands that wanted to hold Sutton!!! We watched all the good football games with hem.

Saturday night, my friend, Kelley, made a quick stop by to see Sutton. She said there was no way she was going to miss getting to see him!

On Sunday, my wonderful friend Erin, invited us over for brunch. When we found out that our friend, Anji wouldn't be at school on Friday, (because she was about to have her baby), Erin invited Anji and her husband, Travis, over for brunch too!!!) Anji, you looked great, by the way! It was SO fun to see everyone. Erin and I never have trouble finding something to talk about, and it was so nice to see her meet Sutton.

Also, it was neat, because Anji and Travis' baby is predicted to be about the size that Sutton is now. So got a little preview of what was to come. By the way, Sutton's Halloween outfit is one that Anji got him!!!
