We've been swaddling Sutton at night. We especially like the Halo Sleep Sack, it makes swaddling him SO much easier. But, we have gotten pretty good at swaddling him in a blanket, too. He doesn't fight it nearly as much as he used to. Even right after he was born, in the hospital, he was a master magician at working his arms free of the blanket. While he still does that sometimes, it's not nearly as often. It's really pretty amazing to watch how quickly he will calm down as soon as you start to wrap him in the blanket. It's also pretty funny to hear him grunting as you are wrapping him up!! I think it's really helped with his sleeping too. I won't brag on that too much, or go into great detail because I don't want to jinx it!!!

Here is a picture of him all swaddled up and SOUND asleep at bedtime. The videos below are from this morning when I unwrapped him. It never fails that his little arms go STRAIGHT up and he stretches all out. And believe it or not, those little "stick" arms have a lot more baby fat on them then they did. Enjoy!

  1. He is just so cute stretching his little arms out! The picture of him sleeping looks an awful lot like Greg when he sleeps! Must be a Tippett face! :) I am looking forward to meeting him!!
