Some Helpful Baby Books

I wanted to share a couple of great books that have been recommened to me. Several people told me aobut "Baby Bargins" which shares secrets to saving 20%-50% on all that baby stuff. I've been reading through it the last couple of days, and it is a wealth of info, and it's great because it is so much info all in one place. After reading this and advice from my sister, a brand new Mom, I'm going to get those baby registeries done. (If you've looked, you might have noticed they seemed a little scatter brained. I've been using them more as a "holding cart" for a lot of maybes!!!

"Heading Home with Your Newborn, From Birth to Reality" is also a good resource. It really only gives info for babies up to around 6 months. Some of the info I already new, but there is a lot of good advice. I also like it because it will weigh both sides of different issues, and doesn't take sides. Just gives you info about both. I like that, it didn't have a "preachy" feeling.

I've also started reading "Breastfeeding Made Simple, Seven Natural Laws for Nursing Mothers" I'm only on chapter 3, but it has a lot of good information. It does seem to lean more towards natural childbrith and not using any drugs, but it's not too bad. We'll see how it goes.

Check back with me in October and November, and then I'll be able to tell you how good these books really are, and how helpful they have been. I only wish all the answers were in a book!!!!
