My First Entry

IT'S A BOY!!!

Well, this is my first journal entry. I've never done any blogs or anything like that, so hopefully this will work out!!!

We are offically 6 1/2 month pregnant right now, it's hard to believe. It went SO slow from week 1-12, and then it really started to speed up. Now I can't believe that it was a month ago that we found our that we are having a boy, Sutton Monroe Tippett.

Just a little background info for those of you that don't know. Chris and I moved to Sherman, Texas, last November after almost 9 years in Round Rock, Texas, (near Austin) Chris got a job with Texas Instruments, and we really wanted to move to be closer to family in Oklahom. Sherman is about 6o miles north east of Dallas. So Chris is really enjoying his job with TI, and I have started my women's networking group, The Heart Link Network, here in Sherman. We have met some REALLY great people in Sherman, and it is feeling like home. We are also closing on our new house, tomorrow, Friday, June 20th. So we are excited to move in and be in our own place. (well, we're not exactly excited about the actual moving part!)

We also have another doctor's appointment, tomorrow the 20th. We will get to listen to the heartbeat and make sure everything else is ok. Sutton has been moving around a lot, kicking up a storm. So I'm not to0 worried!

I had my Heart Link event tonight, and all the ladies were commenting on how I looked pregnant now. It's funny because all my "old" friends and family, comment more oh how big I'm getting, and my "new" friends here in Sherman keep saying how small I am for 6 1/2 months!!!! At least everyone agrees that I am pregnant. Chris says that my baby bump has really popped out in the last week or two. Last week, we were on vacation in the Redwood Forests of California, and my mother-in-law, Jerry, said they thought I grew since we got there. Sutton is definately making his presence known!
